…Years later, he found the gong. One strike—(((GONG)))—and the sound cut through everything. It quieted his mind, sharp and sudden, like the splash had years before. He learned something then: sound carries truth, and when truth lands, healing follows. It ripples through him—

This isn’t just my story. Sound is bigger than that—it’s the language of everything. Stars hum, planets pulse, even the smallest stone vibrates its own note. The gong taps into that, echoing the AUM, the hum beneath all things. It’s the music of the spheres, and we’re part of it—our bodies, our breath, ringing with the same truth…

Peace is real, fleeting, and worth chasing—seeding the man’s journey to the gong.

Before the boy sank, before the water held him, there was a hum. Not loud, not sharp—just a tremble, a ripple in the deep. It moved through the pool’s stillness, gold light dancing above, a pattern waiting to be seen. The world didn’t hear it yet—too busy with its own clatter—but it was there, threading through the water, the air, the bones of everything alive.
A strike came later—(((GONG)))—years after the boy became a man, after the drift pulled him far. The sound woke it again, that hum, pulling shapes from chaos: circles in sand, stars in liquid, a truth older than words. It sang through metal, through water, through him—sixty to seventy-five percent a sea, trembling to the same pulse. The spheres knew it too, stars and planets ringing soft, a chorus no one taught him to hear.
He’d find it, lose it, find it again—this hum, this home. It waited in the silence after, in the space between strikes, where patterns held and nothing broke. The boy didn’t know it then, sinking slow, but the sound did. It always would.

Creating this project reminds me of this silent, sacred, peaceful place. Its eternal. Infinite. It exists here and everywhere….nowhere. It's in all things...all time...known and unknown. It's a bridge between worlds. It's in you, it's in me. It just feels like...Home.

Honored to share the beautiful space that is becoming known as @rosedenandtea, a community project founded by tea apprentice, my dear friend @natasharadwan. Together we’ve held ceremonies of tea and sound leaving the world a bit more peaceful. Deeply grateful to share in the ripple of presence and joy this space generates for our Los Angeles community. The Gong has shown me eternal acceptance. What is, is as it is. Enabling flow like water. The current infinitely cleansing. The heart constantly breaking, opening to this very moment. Here. Now. Like the words coming from this silent immaculate space. Not right. Or wrong. All is as it is. All that needs to be done is already complete. Acceptance creates a tingling sensation. My muscles relax. My fascia releases. My stomach muscles let go. Allowing all the processing to process, all the memories imprinted in my body to release. I curl over. In deep rest. Letting my body go I come closer to the moment. I find deepest silence. My body hasn’t rested like this in my years of this existence. This state of rest, silence, outpours from my being, like rays of Sun light. Touching the soul of all existence. Offering rest, peaceful space for all to be entirely as it is. This sacred isness. This infinite being. The space where all life and all death exist. Where the lightness and the darkness meet, greet each other, intertwined in this precise moment of time. Where all is.
